Tomas Bertone, P.E., is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in forensic engineering and accident reconstruction. He joined Qforensics in 2022 and applies his mechanical engineering expertise to the investigation and analysis of complex accidents and failures.

Mr. Bertone has experience investigating a wide range of motor vehicle and accident reconstruction cases. These include automobile, truck, and tractor-trailer collisions, product & machinery failures, as well as motorcycle, pedestrian, and bicycle accidents. His work includes detailed scene documentation, evidence preservation, data collection, and engineering analysis.

Additionally, he is experienced with advanced forensic engineering and accident reconstruction technologies, including FARO 3D laser scanning, Bosch Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) tools, and small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). These technologies support accurate documentation, evidence collection, and analysis of accident scenes and physical evidence.

Mr. Bertone is a graduate of the University of Florida and holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida.
