Quality Forensic Engineering Welcomes Five New Team Members

TALLAHASSEE, FL, May 7, 2024 – In March and April, Qforensics welcomed five new team members in the following locations; West Palm Beach, Colorado Springs, Indianapolis, and two in Tallahassee. Read on to learn more about our newest team members and their specialties.

Meet Qforensics’ Newest Hires

 

Cameron Trepeck, Ph.D., P.E., ACTAR 

Biomechanical Engineer (West Palm Beach, FL)

Cameron is a Biomechanical Engineer with experience in investigating hundreds of accidents, analyzing and reconstructing them while considering both mechanical and biomechanical factors. His extensive background encompasses the analysis of injury mechanisms, causation analysis, injury reconstruction, and the evaluation of product failures. His areas of focus include occupant injury biomechanics, human kinematics, and performance analysis of automotive restraint systems. To further his understanding of human biomechanics, Cameron employs motion capture technology. Additionally, he imparts his knowledge through lectures on mechanical/biomechanical engineering, injury biomechanics, and vehicle accident reconstruction and dynamics at Florida Atlantic University. Cameron’s academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.

Lisa Davidson 

Marketing & Communications Manager (Colorado Springs, CO)

Lisa brings a wealth of experience to the team, with over two decades of expertise in internal and executive communications, project management, community relations, and various marketing proficiencies. She has a proven track record of developing highly successful branding campaigns and marketing strategies for both Fortune 500 companies and philanthropic organizations. Lisa has successfully managed numerous strategic initiatives, encompassing internal/external and executive communications, leadership events, digital presence, and social media, across a range of industries and target audiences. Lisa will be leading online marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, content design and development, website management, branding, and other marketing initiatives. Lisa holds a BA in Communications with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Central Florida.

Melody Gillander

Office Manager (Tallahassee, FL)

Melody has over 20 years of experience in the state government of Florida. She spent more than a decade managing federal grants, including monitoring and compliance. After that she moved into the accounting department, taking on roles involving compliance, research, writing, and process improvements.  She also served as the administrator of an internal accounting system. In Melody’s new role she will be the Office and Facilities Manager for the Tallahassee location and she will also be in charge of compliance activities ranging from securing business and engineering licenses in new states to ensuring city, state, and federal employee laws and regulations are being followed.

Gary Huett

Engineering Consultant (Indianapolis, IN)

Gary Huett has five decades of experience in a wide variety of specialties including: accident reconstruction; drone aerial mapping services; animations; creation of technical computer-generated reenactments of vehicular accidents and other physical phenomena; and consultations in case presentation strategies. He has also provided expert witness testimony throughout the United States on multimillion dollar cases. Gary will be assisting Qforensics’ experts with the development and application of computer simulations and animations to provide reenactments to clients. He will also use his extensive drone operation skills on inspections in and around Indiana. Gary can produce 3D aerial reenactments using high-definition drone orthomosaic maps and 3D models. Gary received his B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and his M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University.

Cricket Skipper 

Engineering & Business Intern (Tallahassee, FL)

Cricket has joined Qforensics as an Engineering and Business Intern. Currently a junior at Florida State University, she is working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During her internship, Cricket will be mentored by a Mechanical Engineering expert to gain knowledge in accident reconstruction and investigations while supporting the engineering team. In order to offer Cricket a comprehensive view of our industry, she will also contribute to marketing initiatives, finance tasks, and various administrative projects.
