Heavy Vehicle ECM

Heavy/commercial vehicles contain engines that are quite different from the typical passenger car engine. Along the same lines, heavy vehicle engines utilize an engine control module (ECM) which can record critical information regarding a collision. These ECMs are essentially a heavy vehicle’s version of a “black box” or air bag control module, as in, they both can contain useful reconstruction data. Contact the engineers at Quality Forensic Engineering, LLC for help with downloading and interpreting ECM data.
